Basunti Yoga India

Nestled deep in the jungle, Basunti overlooks a lake in a wildlife preserve. Basunti is an idyllic private lakeside retreat in the foot hills of The Himalayas, situated in the state of Himachal Pradesh in North India.

The area is famous not only for views, which most Himalayan retreats can boast. Basunti is also known for its wildlife. The retreat plays host to local animals of many types, but also some more exotic ones, like a leopard.

The retreat’s schedule starts with an early-morning yoga class for all levels. Throughout the day are times for meditation, study and reflection,as well as time for simply enjoying the grounds. You can see as much or as little of the other visitors as you want while you are there.

If you’re looking for an authentic Yoga course in India, look no further than Yoga Vidya School. It is a heaven with good vibration and energy. The yoga teachers here are real masters with so much experience, and hold on their subjects and communication.  The yoga hall is very beautiful, which adds energy to the practice. The course has a balanced emphasis on yogic philosophy and how to be a great yoga teacher, which I say is very difficult to find in many modern yoga schools in the town. Over the top,  it is located in the very serene corner of Rishikesh, surrounded by forest,  with an amazing view of the temples and Ganges. Visit:- https://www.yogavidyaschool.com/
