For those looking for a direct bus from Bhowali to Mukteshwar – From Bhowali you can catch a local bus to Mukteshwar at 9:00am. The bus will reach Mukteshwar at 11:00 am. This same bus will go back to Bhowali starting 12:00pm. The cost is just about 100 Rs. per person.
The locals are friendly and ready to help. If you are travelling alone and need a lift they will readily oblige.
Nearest Airport is Pantnagar airport, about 105 Kms from Mukteshwar. You can take a taxi to Mukteshwar and reach in about 2 1/2 hours.
